| I have a Spanish Woman in my Heart
I have a Spanish woman’s blood in me— In my soul. A barefoot woman’s blood in me And a sensuous breast. I have a Spanish woman’s hair in me— Black, Black, Falling around my face. As I untie the strings of her camisa, Her nipples rise. I have a Spanish woman’s heart in me— In my soul. Her brown eyes shine at me As I caress her silken skin. I have a Spanish woman’s body inside my head. --1988 Back to the Index of the Last Sunday Night In the Twentieth Century Complete Index of The Poetry Project Complete Site Index Home larrydill@newhopejournal.com www.newhopejournal.com copyright 2007 by Larry L.
