| Rabbit Rock, North Carolina: A Photographic Introduction. |
||||||||||||||||
| Rabbit Rock Lodge was hand built by Larry L. Dill and Deborah Gaddy in the summer of 1999 on 27 acres in the Pisgah National Forrest. Water is gravity fed from a nearby spring. The nearest electricity is over a mile away. | ||||||||||||||||
| Rabbit Rock Farm is on the southern slope of Sugar Top Mountain in Eastern Haywood County, North Carolina. The views are spectacular. Here is a late autumn view of Cold Mountain. Photo by Deborah Gaddy. | ||||||||||||||||
| The spring that feeds the cabin is almost 800 feet above it, flowing out of granite rock. The spring produces only about 1 gallon of water a minute which turns out to be over a half million gallons of water a year. Most of it runs into nearby Harley Creek. | ||||||||||||||||
| The lodge can easily accommodate 6 to 10 people. Two sleeping lofts, two fireplaces and 6 french doors bring heat, light and freedom to all who visit. | ||||||||||||||||

| Deborah plays and sings at the cabin almost every weekend. | ||||||||||||||||
