You could crawl out of the hole you're in
(or through the door like Gregor)
But you'd still be a bug.
Unless it was only a dream.
Well of course it was.
Even Neil Young knew that.
So...only a dream.
Now we're back at square one,
crawling out of a hole in our lives
that is not a dream.
Hummph!
To be asleep dreaming again
With all its possibilities.
Horrifying at times,
But free from the terrors of reality.
